| Abstract: | It is concluded that species delimitation is truly reliable when based on
combination of characters (morphological, anatomical, biochemical and molecular).
Therefore, in this study molecular and biochemical techniques have been employed for
confirming the taxonomic status of nine different Gracilaria species of Gujarat coast. |
